WILDLIFE DISPLAYS – Cairns Tropical Zoo has the
largest, most comprehensive wildlife collection in Tropical North Queensland:
- Reptiles
One of Australia's most comprehensive Snake displays, Monitors, Dragons,
Lizards, Crocodiles - Saltwater and Freshwater varieties, Alligators
- Birds
Cockatoos, Raptors, Parrots, Emus, Cassowaries, Brolgas, water birds,
finches and more
- Mammals Koalas, Wombats, Macropods – Eastern
Grey, Agile, Pademelons, Cotton Top Tamarins,
Red Pandas, Lemurs, Dingoes, possums and more
FOOD
- “Koala Café” on
the Deck - Our licensed cafe provides snacks, meal. “Breakfast with the Koalas” from
8.30am daily – bookings required.
- “ Outback
Café” We cater for Group breakfasts and
lunches (up to 150 people - pre booking essential).

- All pathways, show
presentations and exhibits are wheelchair accessible.

- There are two
toilet blocks for male and female inside the zoo.
- Wheelchair accessible toilet facilities are also available.
